Yeah, there was allways that question because the original game was released shortly before Noir. But now that Phantom is in the Bee Train family that's not really an issue anymore. ^^
Anyway, now I want to read that D:

He is listed as writer for the original visual novel, yeah. It's a pretty good game, I definitely recommend it.
And, if you haven't yet, you might wanna check Bee Train's anime version too, while you're at it!
The OVA was kinda meh though. ^^;
